1. Acceptance of Terms
By booking a room or staying at any Kangaroo House PG property, you agree to abide by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not proceed with your booking.
2. Booking & Check-In
- A valid government-issued photo ID (Aadhaar, Passport, Driving License) is mandatory at the time of check-in.
- Bookings are confirmed only after receiving the security deposit and first month's rent.
- Room allocation is subject to availability and may vary from the initially requested room type.
- The minimum stay period (lock-in period) is as communicated at the time of booking, typically 3 months.
3. Rent & Payments
- Monthly rent is due on or before the 5th of every month.
- Late payments may incur a penalty as decided by the management.
- Rent includes meals, WiFi, housekeeping, and basic electricity charges (subject to fair usage).
- Excessive electricity usage (e.g., personal heaters, AC beyond allocated hours) may be charged separately.
4. Security Deposit
- A refundable security deposit is collected at the time of booking.
- The deposit will be refunded within 15–30 days after check-out, minus any deductions for damages or unpaid dues.
- The deposit amount is non-negotiable and varies by room type.
5. House Rules
- Smoking, alcohol, and drugs are strictly prohibited within the PG premises.
- Visitors are allowed only in common areas during designated visiting hours (10 AM – 8 PM).
- Residents must maintain cleanliness in their rooms and common areas.
- Noise levels should be kept to a minimum, especially after 10 PM.
- Any damage to PG property will be charged to the resident.
- Residents must not engage in any illegal or anti-social activities.
6. Notice Period & Check-Out
- A minimum 30-day written notice is required before vacating the room.
- Early departure during the lock-in period may result in forfeiture of the security deposit.
- Rooms must be vacated in the same condition as provided, normal wear and tear excepted.
- All personal belongings must be removed at the time of check-out.
7. Liability
- Kangaroo House is not responsible for any loss or theft of personal belongings.
- Residents are advised to secure their valuables in provided storage.
- The management reserves the right to terminate a resident's stay in case of repeated violations of house rules.
8. Changes to Terms
Kangaroo House reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be communicated through the website and/or displayed at the PG premises. Continued stay after changes constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
